KeyMatch is a mobile app designed to help DJs build and mix harmonically compatible sets. KeyMatch is operated by Suade Media LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We respect your privacy and aim to keep things simple and transparent.

This Privacy Policy explains how KeyMatch (“the App”) collects, uses, and protects your information. By using KeyMatch, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • Your use of the KeyMatch iOS app

  • Any related websites or pages that link to this Privacy Policy

It does not cover third-party services you use separately, such as your Apple account, your DJ software, or any external websites or tools. Those services have their own privacy policies.


2. Information we collect

We collect and process only the information we need to operate the app, provide your subscription, and support optional cloud features. You can use some parts of the app without creating an account.

2.1 Information you provide

Account information (optional)
If you choose to create an account or sign in:

  • Email address

We use this to let you log in, sync your cloud sets, and manage your account.

Content you create (optional)
If you use cloud features, we may store:

  • Set data and metadata (for example, track titles as you label them, keys, BPMs, notes, versions of sets)

  • Related organizational data (for example, playlists, tags, “cloud sets”)

You can still use many features locally without saving anything to the cloud.

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you use the app, we may automatically collect:

  • Basic device and app information (for example, app version, device model, operating system)

  • Usage information (for example, which parts of the app are used and basic interaction events)

  • Crash logs and performance data (to understand and fix bugs and stability issues)

This information is used only to keep the app working, improve performance, and understand general usage patterns. We do not collect this information for targeted advertising.

2.3 Purchase and subscription information

If you start a free trial or purchase a subscription, the transaction is processed by the app store platform (for example, Apple’s App Store). We do not receive your full payment details such as your credit card number.

We may receive:

  • Information that a purchase or subscription took place

  • Information needed to determine whether you have an active subscription, a free trial, or no subscription

  • Limited transaction or receipt data needed to verify and manage your entitlement to Pro features

This is used only to:

  • Verify and manage your Pro status

  • Show the correct features in the app (free vs. Pro)

  • Handle subscription changes such as renewals or expirations


3. How we use your information

We use your information for the following purposes:

  1. To provide and operate the app

    • Let you build and manage sets

    • Enable optional cloud storage and sync when you choose to use it

    • Maintain your subscription status and Pro entitlements

  2. To authenticate you (if you create an account)

    • Create and manage your account

    • Protect your data and prevent unauthorized access

  3. To process subscriptions and free trials

    • Verify purchases and entitlements via our payment and subscription infrastructure

    • Handle upgrades, downgrades, and renewals

  4. To improve and protect the app

    • Diagnose crashes, bugs, and performance issues

    • Analyze aggregated or de-identified usage patterns

  5. To communicate with you

    • Respond to support requests and technical questions

    • Send important service-related messages (for example, major changes to features or policies)

We do not sell your personal data and do not use your data for targeted advertising.

    To provide the app, manage your account, and deliver Pro features or cloud features that you choose to use.

    To keep the app secure, prevent abuse, understand performance, and improve the service, where these interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.

    Where required by law (for example, for certain optional analytics or diagnostics), we rely on your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time in the app settings (where available) or by contacting us.


5. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed with service providers who help us operate the app.

5.1 Service providers

We may share information with third parties that act as our service providers, for example:

  • Authentication and account providers – to create and manage user accounts and login.

  • Cloud storage and database providers – to store and sync cloud sets and related data.

  • Subscription and payment infrastructure providers – to verify and manage in-app purchases, free trials, and subscription status.

  • Analytics, diagnostics, and crash reporting providers – to understand how the app performs and fix technical issues.

  • Platform operators – such as the app store that processes purchases and handles billing.

These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually required to protect it and use it only for the specific services they provide to us.

  • Account data (such as your email) and cloud sets are retained while your account is active.

  • If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymize associated personal data within a reasonable period, unless we must keep it longer for legal, accounting, or regulatory reasons.

  • Subscription and transaction-related information may be kept for longer where needed for accounting, dispute resolution, and legal obligations.

  • Crash logs and analytics data are retained only as long as needed to analyze and improve the app.


8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights over your personal data.

8.1 Access, correction, and deletion

You may have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you

  • Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data

  • Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal and contractual limits

  • The right to request deletion of your personal information

  • The right to opt out of any “sale” or certain “sharing” of personal information

9. Children’s privacy

KeyMatch is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@keymatch.app so we can take steps to delete the information as required by law.

In regions where a higher age is required for consent to data processing, users under that age should not use the app.


10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit where supported and access controls for our systems and services.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.


11. Third-party links and integrations

KeyMatch may allow you to import or work with data that comes from third-party software or services (for example, DJ software exports). Those third parties have their own privacy and security practices, which we do not control.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use alongside KeyMatch.


12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will:

  • Update the “Last updated” date at the top, and

  • Where appropriate, notify you within the app or by other reasonable means.

Your continued use of KeyMatch after any changes to this Privacy Policy means you accept the updated policy.
